Sign up for EVO community launch event on 24th Jan

Hi All,

This thread is to give you a heads up on a special event that I am planning for January 24th 2007.

The event will be in collaboration with the following groups:

We are planning a community launch of EVO (Exchange, Vista and Office)

This event will be a chance for a user lead introduction and demonstration of EVO. We will be looking at things from a real world perspective, praising and criticising where necessary.

We will also have long enough breaks between sessions so that you can ask your technical questions to experts who will be available to help you.

The Agenda will look something like the following, although it may change slightly over the next month or so:

09:00 ? 09:45????? ??????????????? Coffee and Biscuits

09:45 ? 10:00????? ??????????????? Introduction to all group leaders and outline of the day

10:00 ? 11:00????????????????????? Intro to 2007 MS Office System and Sharepoint

11:00 ? 11:30????????????????????? Break – Ask the Expert

11:30 ? 12:30????????????????????? Intro to Exchange 2007, LCS/OCS and Unified Communications

12:30 ? 13:45 ???????????????????? Lunch – Networking – Ask the Expert

13:45 ? 15:00????????????????????? A day in the life of a user of EVO

15:00 ? 15:30????????????????????? Break – Ask the Expert

15:30 ? 16:45??????????????????????A day in the life of an administrator of EVO

16:45 ? 17:15??????????????????????Q&A?

Exchange 2007 v 2003 – slides and case studies

For those of you who are consulting this will now likely be a common topic.

Should a client wait for E2007 or go with E2003 now and then move up later.

I have put together a small slide deck which can be found in the downloads section which details some of the options that should be considered. Feel free to customise it as you see fit.

To download see here:…

Also for more info on Exchange 2007 and who is using it, take a look here at the MS case study page:…

I hope this helps a few people.

If you have suggestions or slides of your own feel free to get in touch and I will happily add them to the site.
